Our group of trusted advisors assists a wide range of financial organizations in assessing opportunities, managing risk and delivering stakeholder value.We are seeking an ACH Specialist to join our Financial Institutions Group in our Troy, Michigan or Miami, Florida office. The ACH Specialist will work as a member of the Internal Audit team.Responsibilities:Assist in completing ACH audit engagements.Conduct ACH risk assessments.Review, assess and analyze client internal controls and recommend improvements.Complete assigned work within defined scopes, budgets and schedules.Research technical topics and provide findings to engagement team lead.Maintain effective communication with engagement team and clients to manage expectations, deadlines, and deliverables.Assist with special projects as necessary.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or pursuit of a degree preferred.Earned or interested in pursuing AAP certification.Experience in credit union or banking preferred.Demonstrated knowledge of ACH and RTP.Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills required.Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and with a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Competencies:Client Service, Productivity, Technical Knowledge, Business Acumen, Problem-solving, Critical Thinking, Verbal and Written Communication, Listening for Understanding, Attention to Details, Organization, Business Development, People Development, Teamwork, FlexibilityDoeren Mayhew is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
