About the role

Job Summary: The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting effective stock management, and ensuring alignment between system data and physical inventory. This role works closely with warehouse and operations teams to identify discrepancies, support inventory processes, and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Perform routine inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain data integrity
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within company systems
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to support inventory accuracy
  • Analyze inventory trends and assist in identifying areas for improvement
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of inventory control procedures
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and inventory policies
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies
  • Experience working with inventory systems and basic reporting tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cycle counting or inventory auditing processes
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Background in distribution, wholesale, or high-volume inventory environments
