Pay: $28-$38/hour, based on experience, plus overtime About EL-FI HomesEL-FI Homes is a licensed home electrification contractor based in Irvine (CSLB - C-10, C-20, C-46). We help Southern California homeowners switch to clean, efficient, all-electric homes with heat pump HVAC, solar, batteries, panel upgrades and EV chargers. Our HVAC division is growing and we're adding installers to the team.
What you'll do: Install ducted heat pump systems, air handlers, coils and ductless mini-splits in residential homes Troubleshoot/Service heat pump systems, air handlers, coils and ductless mini-splits in residential homes Set and level condensers, run line sets, braze, pressure test, evacuate and charge systems Install and seal ductwork, plenums and registers Wire thermostats and low-voltage controls Remove and haul away old equipment Leave every job site clean and walk the homeowner through their new system Prepare systems for city inspections and HERS/duct testing What we're looking for 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience Experience with heat pumps and mini-splitsEPA 608 certification (Universal preferred)Experience with R-32/A2L refrigerants, or willingness to train Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces and on roofs Your own hand tools Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation Able to lift 50+ lbs
Nice to have: Lead installer experienceNATE certification Knowledge of Title 24 and HERS requirementsEPA Certification UniversalOSHA 30
