Core Responsibilities: Perform high-quality tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, grossing, and staining (routine, special stains, and immunohistochemistry/IHC).Prepare hospital-grade pathology specimens, including surgical biopsies, bone marrows, frozen sections, and non-gynecological cytology. Ensure strict compliance with laboratory safety, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements (CAP/CLIA).Maintain bench machinery, reagents, and clinical laboratory documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree AND completion of an accredited Histology program.
Certifications: Active ASCP Certification as a Histotechnologist (HTL).Licensure: Active Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (or eligible/in-process).
Experience: 1+ years of clinical histology laboratory experience preferred (open to strong new graduates).Schedule Full-Time 8-Hour Shifts Monday to Friday
