Duration: 2 months + likely extension for execution phase
Preferred Location: Prefer Seattle, WA or Provo, UT but remote is acceptable with travel for 2 onsite weeks
Role Description:
Seeking two Systems Analysts to support application and architecture planning for an M&A integration project. The analysts will work closely with the client's enterprise architect to understand the combined technology landscape, map business processes to supporting systems and help determine the future disposition of applications across the two organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a combined application inventory across both organizations.
- Map business processes and capabilities to supporting applications.
- Analyze application overlap, dependencies and integration points.
- Support application disposition recommendations, including:- Keep- Migrate- Consolidate- Retire
- Document current-state and target-state technology environments.
- Develop current and target architecture diagrams.
- Build and maintain the application register.
- Review and document system integrations and data flows.
- Work directly with the enterprise architect, business analysts and workstream owners.
- Identify technology dependencies that need to be incorporated into the broader integration roadmap.
Requirements:
- Strong enterprise applications experience.
- Experience working with environments that may include Salesforce, Service
- Now, ERP and HR systems.
- Ability to understand and document system integrations and data flows.
- Experience developing application inventories and system/application maps.
- Strong diagramming skills using Lucidchart and/or Visio.
- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
- Ability to work across business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Background:
M&A systems integration or application rationalization experience.
Experience with application disposition/rationalization exercises.
Enterprise architecture exposure.
Experience documenting current-state and target-state architectures.
Experience working across multiple enterprise platforms rather than specializing exclusively in one application.
