About the role
Admissions Intake Coordinator Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation, a renowned healthcare provider in Danville, Pennsylvania, is seeking a compassionate and organized Admissions Intake Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This is an entry level position working as an assistant to the Director of Sales and Admissions. Responsibilities:
- Screen and triage phone calls and walk-ins, prioritizing patient needs and efficiently managing the admissions process
- Complete electronic admissions intake information with new admissions and their representatives.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary information and documentation
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate intake processes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure prompt and quality care delivery
Requirements:
0+ years of experience in healthcare admissions or a related field High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
