About Us: San Dimas Aquatics (SDA) is a fast-growing, competitive swim program in Southern California. We provide a positive, fun, and challenging training environment for athletes of all levels, with a strong focus on performance, teamwork, and character development.
Position Overview: We are seeking an energetic Senior Development Coach to lead advancing swimmers ages 13–18 who are progressing from age group into senior-level training and competition. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rising program and help shape its culture at a pivotal stage of athlete development. Hours 12.5–16 / week depending on meet schedule Meets Regular weekend meets throughout the season Compensation Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities: Plan and lead practices for senior development athletes Refine advanced stroke technique, race strategy, and training habits Foster a positive, motivating, and competitive team environment Support athletes at meets and team events Collaborate with coaching staff to align training and support athletes’ transition from age group to senior-level performance.
Preferred Qualifications: Current USA Swimming Coach Certifications (may be completed once hired) Experience coaching senior-level or advanced age-group swimmers Enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated team player Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills Passion for developing swimmers of all ages Knowledge of current technique and training methods
