Underground Utility MechanicASRC Federal Facilities Logistics LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking Underground Utility Mechanics to support our Prime NASA program at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.Under direction of the Mechanical Supervisor, the Underground Utility Mechanic is responsible for: Directing and overseeing excavation requirements to expose utility systems for repair and or replacement. Ensuring safety measures have been established to then proceed to repair or replace damaged utilities to reestablish system operability. Covering of exposed utilities after they are returned to service.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years as a Journeyman in HVAC/R, Plumbing, or Industrial Maintenance Welder Certification Minimum 5 years' experience in underground utility maintenance performing the following: Directing and overseeing excavation requirements to expose utility systems for repair and or replacement.
