Part-Time Creative Specialist – Downtown Frederick, MD | Contract | 15-20 Hours per Week, Flexible Schedule | $27 - $32 per Hour About the Role Are you looking for a part-time, flexible schedule that allows you to live your life and do great work? We're looking for a multi-disciplinary creative who is equally strong in design and video, knows how to create content that performs, and enjoys jumping into different types of creative work as needs evolve. You'll work alongside senior designers and support a range of client projects across social, video, and design. From capturing footage and editing short-form content to creating digital assets and ad creative, you'll play an important role in helping great work get out the door. Your flexibility, creativity, and willingness to contribute will make a real impact. What You'll Do Design Produce high-quality digital assets across client accounts Resize and adapt assets across formats and platforms while maintaining brand consistency Support senior designers on branding, print, and digital projects Video & Motion Own short-form video production for social platforms including Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn video Concept, capture, edit, and publish social video content that is built for the platform, not repurposed from elsewhere Capture footage and audio on location at client sites Create motion graphics, animated text, captions, and transitions Social & Ad Creative Build visual content for organic and paid social Produce ad creative in multiple formats including static, animated, and video assets Bring ideas and creative approaches that can improve campaign performance What You Bring 3-5 years of hands-on creative experience (agency experience is required) Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva (required) Strong proficiency with video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar) Experience capturing usable footage and audio on location without a production crew A solid understanding of social content, ad creative, motion graphics, and a genuine curiosity about AI and emerging creative tools A portfolio that shows range, with strong examples of both design work and short-form social video Reliable transportation for occasional travel to client locations
