HotFoot Recruiters is hiring General Construction Laborers to support commercial construction projects throughout the Phoenix metro area. This is a great opportunity for dependable, motivated candidates who want to build a long-term career in construction and develop into skilled trade positions.The team is expanding its self-perform operations and is looking for employees who demonstrate strong attendance, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.Position: General Construction LaborerLocation: Phoenix Metro Area, AZType: Full-Time | Contract-to-HirePay: $20.00-$25.00/hr DOESchedule: Monday-Friday | Approximately 6:00 AM-3:00 PMStart Date: ASAP | Monday starts availableResponsibilitiesPerform general jobsite cleanup and maintain safe, organized work areas.Move, stage, load, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.Assist skilled tradespeople and field leadership with daily construction activities.Support interior construction work including drywall, ceilings, doors, carpentry, and finishing activities.Perform demolition, material handling, basic installation support, and other general labor duties as assigned.Follow superintendent and foreman instructions and maintain productivity throughout the shift.Follow all jobsite safety requirements and use required PPE.Travel to assigned commercial project sites throughout the Phoenix metro area.QualificationsConstruction or general labor experience required.Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.Must be at least 18 years old.Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to different Phoenix-area jobsites.Comfortable performing physical work, standing, lifting, bending, and working on active construction sites.Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.Safety certifications are helpful but not required.Must successfully complete required background screening and 7-panel drug screen (THC excluded).The company is specifically looking for individuals who want to grow into skilled construction roles and build a long-term career with the organization.Benefits Upon Permanent ConversionEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) eligibility after meeting service requirements401(k) with employer matchEmployer-paid employee medical and dental coverageVision insuranceAnnual discretionary bonus opportunityPTO, sick time, and paid company holidaysParental bonding leave$70 monthly phone reimbursementEmployee meals/snacks and team-building activities
