Your role
You will lead day-to-day operations, support team performance, and ensure service standards are consistently delivered. You’ll act as a bridge between leadership and frontline teams—driving accountability, engagement, and results.

Leadership Requirements
Proven leadership experience in hospitality or related industry
Ability to drive performance, accountability, and team engagement
Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
Experience managing operations, budgets, or departmental goals
Demonstrated ability to lead through change and innovation
Housekeeping Operations Extensive knowledge of housekeeping procedures, standards, and best practices.
Ability to develop and implement cleaning schedules for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Understanding of hospitality brand standards and quality assurance requirements.
Experience managing room inspection processes and cleanliness audits.
Property Management Systems (PMS) Proficiency with hotel PMS platforms such as:
OPERA PMS
Ability to monitor room status, coordinate room releases, and manage housekeeping assignments through system applications.
Inventory and Supply Management Experience managing linen, terry, guest room supplies, and cleaning chemical inventories.
Knowledge of inventory control processes, ordering procedures, and cost management.
Ability to analyze usage reports and minimize waste while maintaining service standards.
Chemical Safety and Compliance Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures.
Experience training staff on hazard communication, PPE usage, and safe operating procedures.
Familiarity with bloodborne pathogen and biohazard cleaning protocols.
Labor Management Ability to create staffing schedules based on occupancy forecasts and business demand.
Experience managing productivity standards, labor budgets, and payroll controls.
Knowledge of timekeeping systems and labor law compliance.
Quality Assurance Ability to conduct detailed room inspections and quality audits.
Experience utilizing cleanliness scoring systems and guest satisfaction metrics.
Technology Skills Proficiency in:
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Workforce management software
Inventory management systems
Mobile housekeeping applications
Budget and Financial Management Experience managing departmental budgets.
Ability to analyze labor costs, supply expenses, and departmental productivity metrics.
Knowledge of forecasting and expense control techniques.
Ability to prepare operational reports and performance analyses.
Preventive Maintenance Coordination Ability to identify maintenance deficiencies and submit work orders.
Experience coordinating with Engineering/Maintenance departments.
Knowledge of basic facility systems impacting guest room readiness.
Training and Performance Management Experience developing and delivering housekeeping training programs.
Ability to evaluate employee performance using productivity and quality metrics.
Knowledge of coaching, disciplinary processes, and performance improvement planning.
3+ years of housekeeping supervisory or management experience in hospitality.
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Certification in hospitality management, housekeeping operations, or safety programs preferred.
Bilingual skills may be preferred based on workforce demographics.
