Under CDL Delivery Driver

Job Type: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:45am - 1:00pm - 5:00pm; depending on route and daily workload

Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.50/hour; Starting pay $24.00/hour Objective: Under CDL Delivery Drivers are responsible for safely operating box trucks and/or vans —all equipped with automatic transmissions.  This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and professional delivery service while upholding product quality standards.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities  Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts. Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas. Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport. Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier. Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier. Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members. Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report any maintenance or repair needs.  Qualifications & Requirements  High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 21 years of age. This is a legal requirement to transport alcohol. Active Under CDL License in good standing. Minimum of 1 year of experience operating Under CDL vehicles in city-traffic. Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:45 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume.  Core Competencies  Consistently practice safe driving habits. Strong accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Effective time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with clients and team members. Physical Demands & Work Environment  Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold. Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and twist regularly. Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs (e.g., two cases of beer).Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs. Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines. Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively.
