About the role

Heavy Civil Superintendent | Pennsylvania | $150k - $190kWe're working with a heavy civil contractor on a federal infrastructure rehabilitation project, and they need a Superintendent who's ready to dig into something technical. This one's a multi-million dollar structural rehab, roughly two years start to finish, with physical work kicking off in early 2027. It's the kind of job where the details actually matter, rock walls, anchors, big concrete pours, not a standard grade-and-pave gig.๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฒ: You'd be running vertical rock wall cutback and lining, tieback anchor installation, and access roads built to DOT standard. Drilling stays in-house right through to the roadway work, and a good chunk of your time will go into large-scale concrete restoration and formwork.๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚'๐—น๐—น ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด: โ€ข You've run heavy civil or heavy highway jobs as a Superintendent โ€ข You know your way around structural concrete restoration and big formwork โ€ข You're happy setting a job up from nothing, equipment list and mobilization plan included๐—ก๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ (๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜‚๐˜€, ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ): โ€ข Rock excavation, tieback anchors, or dam and spillway rehab work โ€ข In-house drilling experience โ€ข Federal or Army Corps of Engineers project history๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜'๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ: โ€ข $150,000 to $190,000 โ€ข Permanent, full time โ€ข Based on-site in north-central Pennsylvania, no travel involved โ€ข Coming on early to help plan the job before ground breaks is a real plus hereYou don't need to tick every box. If the core fits and the attitude's right, or you know someone who does, reach out. Interviews are moving fast.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio โ€” just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer โ€” usually within two working days.
