About the role

Certified Tile and Stone, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our Nevada office. We specialize in tile, stone, marble, and related finish installations for commercial and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience reviewing architectural drawings, finish schedules, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate and competitive estimates. This role is critical to helping us secure profitable work, support project planning, and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal project teams.
Qualifications: Previous experience in construction estimating, preferably with a tile, stone, marble, terrazzo, flooring, or specialty finishes subcontractor. Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, finish schedules, specifications, and construction documents. Knowledge of tile, stone, marble, terrazzo, waterproofing, setting materials, grout, slab fabrication, installation methods, and related finish scopes is highly preferred. Experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing detailed estimates for commercial construction projects. Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software such as Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Excel, or similar platforms. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify scope gaps, conflicts, exclusions, alternates, and potential cost impacts. Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and organization. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with general contractors, vendors, suppliers, project managers, and field personnel. Understanding of construction schedules, project documents, contracts, change orders, and cost control is a plus. Nevada construction experience or familiarity with the Las Vegas subcontractor market is preferred.
