About the role
Coordinating patient orders from physician offices and internal departments, the full-time Kentucky Pre-Access Specialist will ensure accurate distribution and documentation of scheduled procedures while working remotely with varied hours.
Key responsibilities:
Manages and indexes patient orders received via fax or EMR, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical standards
Responds to internal and external communications promptly, maintaining high standards of customer service
Maintains organized work processes and meets productivity standards for daily assignmentsRequired qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least one year of experience in patient access preferred
PC literacy with a typing speed of 30 wpm and 95% accuracy required
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Proficiency in EMR and Microsoft Office Suite
