The selected candidate will work a hybrid schedule consisting of three (3) days each week onsite in Long Beach, CA and two (2) days each week remotely.Summary:We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business and technology partners to support the implementation and ongoing evolution of a Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS). This position plays a critical role in helping to establish a modern Enterprise Asset Management System capability while creating the foundation for future initiatives such as predictive maintenance, asset analytics, smart infrastructure, and Digital Twin technologies. The role bridges business operations, technology, and data to ensure that asset lifecycle decisions are informed, integrated, and aligned with the Port's strategic objectives.What You'll Do:Support the implementation, enhancement, and adoption of the Enterprise Asset Management System (VUEWorks)Analyze business requirements and translate them into system workflows, configurations, and functional specificationsEnsure business, operational, and regulatory requirements are accurately reflected within the EAMS platformAssist with the development and maintenance of asset lifecycle management processes and standardsCollaborate with stakeholders across Program Management, Project Control, Maintenance, Finance, Real Estate, and Information Management DivisionsFacilitate requirements validation, process reviews, and solution discussionsSupport business process improvement initiatives related to asset management and infrastructure lifecycle planningCoordinate and support integration activities between VUEWorks and enterprise systemsAssist in documenting data flows, integration requirements, interfaces, and business rulesSupport data quality, data governance, and asset information management initiativesDevelop and execute integration testing strategies and test plansCoordinate system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution activitiesWork closely with business users, vendors, and project teams to validate functionality and business processesSupport training, knowledge transfer, and organizational change management activitiesSupport the development of asset information capabilities that enable future Digital Twin initiativesAssist in defining technology roadmaps, data requirements, and integration strategies supporting smart infrastructure and digital asset managementCollaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Technology Strategy teams to align asset management initiatives with the long-term technology visionWhat You'll Need:Required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics or a closely related fieldMinimum 610 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar roleIAM certification and domain expertise with ISO 55000Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), or infrastructure asset management solutionsUnderstanding of business analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, and workflow designFamiliarity with enterprise system integrations, APIs, and data management conceptsExperience supporting testing activities, including integration testing and User Acceptance TestingStrong communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skillsProven experience leading requirements phases for large or complex system implementations or integrationsDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across business and technical teamsDeep understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid environments)Excellent written and verbal communicationPreferred:Knowledge of GIS, BIM, SCADA, ERP, financial systems, or related operational technologiesStrong data analysis skills, including SQL, reporting tools, or data visualization platformsExperience working in Agile or product-centric delivery modelsCBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar certificationsExperience mentoring or leading other analystsPhysical Demands:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetingsAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor*** Please note that any false information on your resume or application could lead to the offer being withdrawn or even termination after hire.***
