About the role
Conference Room Operator Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Conference Room Operator for a contract assignment with one of our premier Management Consulting clients in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities:
Support daily office operations and workplace services activities in accordance with established processes and service standards.
Assist with conference room readiness, office setup activities, and workplace logistics.
Support mail, shipping, receiving, inventory, storage, and distribution activities as applicable within the office.
Assist with vendor coordination and service delivery activities under the guidance of more senior team members.
Respond to colleague and stakeholder requests in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
Help maintain office facilities, common areas, supplies, equipment, and workplace resources.
Escalate issues, service disruptions, maintenance concerns, and workplace risks appropriately.
Support office events, meetings, and internal activities as required.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and operational data.
Follow Firm policies, procedures, safety requirements, and professional standards.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver reliable, accurate, and timely work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Ability to work in-person
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Ability to handle transportation of materials or objects, when required
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive working relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality work and operational support.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, including a polished presence across telephone, email, and other workplace communication channels.
- Strong typing, proofreading, and document production capabilities with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and the ability to learn and use workplace technologies and operational systems.
- Foundational knowledge of office services, workplace operations, facilities support, and administrative processes.
- Understanding of customer service standards, workplace safety practices, security protocols, and operational procedures.
- Ability to identify issues, apply sound judgment in routine situations, solve problems with appropriate guidance, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
12 years of general office experience preferred, ideally in a professional services environment.
University degree or advanced certifications in office management, facilities management, hospitality, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of Spanish a plus.
