About the role
- Five 8-hour shifts weekly (GWW40: 5x8s)
- Nights, 3:00pm 11:30pmWeekend and holiday rotation required
- Immediate start
- Minimum 1 year of travel experience in a similar role
- At least 2 years of relevant sterile processing experience
- High School Diploma or GEDCurrent Central Service CertificationNIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician credentials
- Strong commitment to complete scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays
- Perform cleaning, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and quality assurance standards
- Inspect and inventory surgical sets, ensuring instruments and trays are in optimal condition
- Collaborate with clinical staff to anticipate and meet the needs of scheduled procedures
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate as necessary
- Document and report all tasks in compliance with regulatory requirements
