About the role
- Perform ASME code welding on pressure vessels, piping, and structural components
- Weld using FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, and SAWWork with carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel-based alloys
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and weld procedures
- Complete ASME weld logs and quality documentation
- Pass non-destructive testing (NDT) for pressure-retaining welds
- Use overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts safely
- Inspect and repair welds to meet code and quality standards
- This is hands-on, high-skill welding—not light fabrication or bench work.

- On-site weld test required as part of the interview process
- Test is aligned with ASME Section IX procedures
- Designed to reflect the actual work performed in the shop
- Prior ASME code welding experience required
- Company-paid certification and recertification to CCC welding procedures
- We believe great welders should show their skill, not just talk about it.
- 2+ years of experience welding pressure vessels or pipe (FCAW required)
- High school diploma or trade school certification (welding preferred)
- Ability to pass on-site weld qualification testing
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and documentation
- ScheduleRotating shift operation (details reviewed during the screening process)
