About the role

Boost Talent is partnering with a cybersecurity services provider to recruit experienced sales professionals across three US regions. Southern California, the Dallas or Austin area or the Mid-Atlantic region. This role suits a proactive seller who enjoys developing a territory, opening new customer relationships and managing complex sales conversations with senior security and IT leaders.
The opportunity: You'll take responsibility for generating and closing new business in your region, combining direct prospecting with partner led opportunities. You'll work alongside technical and business development colleagues to understand customer challenges and build a compelling commercial case.
What you'll do:
  • Build and execute a territory plan focused on new customer acquisition
  • Generate opportunities through outbound activity, your network and channel partners
  • Manage the sales process from initial conversation through negotiation and close
  • Develop relationships with senior security, technology and business stakeholders
  • Work with technical specialists to align proposals with customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasts
What we're looking for:
  • At least three years of direct cybersecurity sales experience
  • Experience selling managed security services is particularly relevant
  • Evidence of winning new business and consistently delivering against targets
  • Confidence leading commercial discussions with senior decision makers
  • The ability to explain technical services in terms of business value
  • A proactive approach to prospecting and building partner relationships
Package and location The same compensation structure applies across all three locations: $135,000–$140,000 base salary with a 50/50 commission plan. Candidates should be based in Southern California, the Dallas or Austin area or the Mid-Atlantic region. Regular travel within the assigned territory is required. Apply to arrange a confidential conversation with Jessica Spencer at Boost Talent.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
