About the role

EDIfecs Software Engineer Temp tperm but, 100% remote positions and must be in DC, MD VA, DE WV, or NC. EDI Enrollment (834), Using Edifecs as the automated Enrollment.3 years of Edifecs is preferred but, strong knowledge of the Edifecs software is a must. Importing and exporting, Experience with API's/API validations, installing patches for Edifecs, ENR & Edifecs exp. for the ideal candidate!(Some on-call work may be required)
Responsibilities: EDIFECS Deployments tTest, UAT and Production environments. EDIFECS Software Patch Installs. Support weekend and after hour deployments. Support EDIFECS Applications including EDIFECS Application Manager, EDIFECS Account Portal, EDIFECS Dashboard and EDIFECS ENR.Ensures that all software or systems for which they are responsible are monitored and tuned tensure acceptable levels of performance and resource utilization. Ensures that the software is utilizing all appropriate functions and features. Timely and accurate reporting on performance, utilization and feature use as requested. Provides technical assistance tOperations and the Help Desk in order tresolve test production schedules or problems. Provides project management regarding all technical aspects of implementing projects/major release upgrades, which includes properly following a project life cycle, the development of project plan, all appropriate documentation and notifications are completed in order tobtain resolution within the established timeframes. Performs installation of software and hardware in a timely manner in keeping with current release levels. Tests software thoroughly prior tmoving intproduction and well as adhering tall notification and change control procedures.
Requirements:
  • This position requires a BA/BS in Computer Science and 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • Equivalent experience supporting complex and critical IT environments will be evaluated in lieu of these requirements where applicable.
