What you'll do:
  • Provide ethical, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, and depending on your experience, children, adolescents, and couples
  • Keep timely, accurate documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
  • Bring all cases to weekly supervision, especially clients with safety concerns, clients who disengage, and clients who frequently cancel or no-show
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and your supervisor
  • How the role works
This is a fee-for-service position. You're paid for each completed session. Supervision time, no-shows, and cancellations are not paid. To reach our target of 12 billable sessions per week, therapists schedule 15 to 16 appointments weekly and keep a consistent schedule. This role works best for clinicians who want it to be their primary professional home and plan to build toward full time.
Requirements:
  • Active New York State LMSW license
  • New York State resident
  • Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace, stable internet, and a working webcam and audio setup
  • Consistent weekly availability to schedule 15 to 16 client appointments
  • Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Strongly preferred
  • Evening availability, 4:00 PM or later
  • Experience with clients of all ages, including minors
  • Couples counseling experience or strong interest in couples work
