What youll do Henkel Adhesives is seeking a customer-facing Field Application Engineer to support our Tissue & Towel business. This role is critical in delivering technical service, driving valueand promoting sustainability through Henkel's expertise. You will collaborate closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to identify customer needs, design tailored technical solutions, and ensure successful implementation. The position involves frequent travelling, engagement with multiple customer levels, from line operators to corporate technical and procurement teams.
Main Responsibilities: Customer Engagement & Technical Service-Conduct on site customer visits for technical service, product recommendations, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and process optimization. Develop and communicate value propositions for Henkel solutions. Provide high-level support for key accounts and critical NAMX/global customers. Coordinate with Application Center, Analytical Group, Product Development, and other internal teams. Interact with Operations and Quality teams on process improvements, and to ensureproducts meet customer requirements Build strong relationship with key equipment and substratemanufacturers (OEMs and OMMs) to access cutting-edge expertise. Develop and deliver technical training for customers and internalteams. Represent Henkel at internal and external events to reinforcemarket leadership. Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with Henkel and regulatory safety, legal, andenvironmental standards. What makes you a good fit Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
Experience: Knowledge of water-based adhesives in tissue & towel markets. 3+ year of Industry experience, ideally in personal hygiene business. Experience with tissue & towel manufacturing equipment is a plus.
Skills: - Willing to travel up to 70% of the time to customer sites across North America and Mexico.- Strong analytical, mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral/written communication (English required; Spanish preferred). Project management, organizational, and digital skills (Salesforce, AI tools preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills in building relationships with internal and external professionals of all organizational levels. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. High learning agility, adaptability, motivation and innovation mindset. This range represents thegood‐faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offerfor this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, thisposition may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, asapplicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package asdescribed above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as thecandidate's skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
