About the role
Maintenance Supervisor – Sophia Square Residential Community (Full-Time)We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations at our residential community. You'll manage and mentor a team of technicians, keep the property in top condition, and deliver friendly, professional service to residents, contractors, and coworkers.
What You'll Do:
Inspect the property regularly and handle repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliances. Supervise, schedule, and train maintenance technicians, setting weekly priorities based on workload. Prepare vacant units for new move-ins and follow up to make sure work is done right. Keep projects on time and within budget, and manage inventory, tools, and equipment. Maintain the community pool and grounds, including light landscaping and cleanup. Coordinate special projects, assist with safety inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Participate in the 24-hour on-call maintenance rotation.
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or GED.Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in property management or real estate, including leading technicians. HVAC certification. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Working knowledge of property management rules and regulations. Strong communication skills and comfort with email and MS Office.
Nice to Have:
3+ years of Maintenance Supervisor experience. Experience managing budgets and finding ways to control costs. Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Work Environment &
Physical Requirements:
Monday–Friday schedule, with evenings and weekends as needed for on-call duty and projects. Work takes place in apartments, common areas, outdoors, and the office. The role requires climbing stairs and ladders, working in tight spaces, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations are available.
