Early Childhood Lead Gym Teacher

Responsive Recruiter My Gym is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Early Childhood Gym Teacher to support our children's fitness programs. In this role, you will assist in overseeing daily operations and help create an engaging environment for children and their families. Your contributions will ensure high-quality fitness instruction while promoting a positive and supportive community. The Lead Gym Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the Gym Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the My Gym location. You will ensure the highest quality of service for both children and their families while fostering a positive and engaging environment. This leadership position requires a balance of business management, team leadership, and exceptional customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for childhood development and a commitment to growing our community of families. Responsibilities include assisting in overseeing the daily operations of the center, including staff training and effective communication with parents; building and maintaining strong relationships with families, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns; developing and implementing strategies to boost enrollment and retain current families; and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff at all times. Qualifications include proven experience working with young children in an organized setting; demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team; a strong willingness to collaborate and contribute as a dedicated team player; excellent communication skills for clear interaction with staff, parents, and guests; the ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds; the capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours) while fulfilling job responsibilities; and a background in dance, theater or kinesiology are desired.
