Job Duties / General Requirements: As an Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of building and nurturing long-term relationships with key clients across our directed markets statewide. Your primary focus will be on creating opportunities, leading sales efforts, and securing new projects and service contracts within our extensive range of current and future offerings. We are seeking a dynamic individual who excels in networking, problem-solving, and delivering high-value solutions to customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in dealing with high-profile clients, understanding their pain points, and developing tailored solutions to meet their needs. Essential Functions: Strategic client acquisition: Take initiative to identify and onboard new customers, showcasing a proactive approach in targeting and securing key accounts. Complex project sales: Demonstrate the ability to identify and close large, intricate projects and solutions within the defined market segments. Relationship management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing key customers, ensuring continuous engagement and satisfaction. Team collaboration: Foster a collaborative selling environment, leveraging subject matter experts to provide unique and value-driven solutions to customers. Customer service excellence: Uphold the highest standards of customer service, both externally with clients and internally with colleagues, to ensure a seamless experience. Performance management: Meet and exceed key performance indicators, managing to service level agreements (SLAs) and other critical deliverables. Data management: Maintain accurate sales forecasting and customer information within the company's CRM system and other relevant tools. Negotiation and closure: Lead negotiations on contract terms and drive deals to closure, ensuring alignment with customer expectations. Problem resolution: Proactively address customer concerns, solve problems, and ensure timely delivery of commitments. Market expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape, demonstrating a high level of industry knowledge. Sales cycle management: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact to contract signing and implementation. Post-sales support: Provide professional after-sales support to enhance customer loyalty and retention. Customer engagement: Maintain regular communication with assigned customers to understand their evolving needs and preferences. Professional development: Attend internal and external conferences, training sessions, meetings, and industry events to stay updated with industry advancements and networking opportunities. Core competencies: Strong business acumen Presentation skills and ability Strong problem solving/analysis abilities Customer service & client management skills Demonstrable sales process knowledge Ability to close the deal Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Education and experience: 5+ years of identified HVAC market experience, commercial construction sales or account management. Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing a related field or extensive, proven relevant industry experience is preferred. Work environment: This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, tablets, and CRM system.
