General Grinding Technician
Location: Elgin, SC | Schedule: 4-Day Week | First ShiftAMBAC International is hiring General Grinding Technicians to join our employee-owned manufacturing team in Elgin, SC. In this role, you'll operate grinding equipment used to restore and manufacture precision fuel injection components for heavy-duty diesel engines serving agriculture, transportation, industrial, and defense industries. What You'll Do:
  • Operate grinding equipment to machine components to precise specifications
  • Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
  • Follow work instructions and quality standards to ensure accuracy
  • Identify defects, wear, or inconsistencies in components
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, organized condition
  • Support production goals while maintaining safety and quality expectations

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions
  • Comfortable working with machinery and precision measurement tools
  • Manufacturing, machining, grinding, or industrial experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
