Overview: Quality Control Specialists are responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve a company's final products and processes in order to meet established quality standards.
Responsibilities: Conduct routine audits of order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping of supplement products - Verify product accuracy, lot numbers, expiration dates, and packaging integrity - Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and internal quality standards - Identify and document errors, discrepancies, and non-conformance issues - Perform random and scheduled quality checks on outgoing shipments - Monitor storage conditions to ensure supplements are handled according to safety and quality guidelines - Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions - Maintain detailed audit records and prepare reports for management review - Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures and SOPs - Support training efforts to reinforce quality standards among fulfillment staff
Qualifications: Abilities/Skills/
Knowledge Requirements: Good communication and organizational skills Strong organization skills with attention to detail Basic computer knowledge Knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs Packaging and material handling experience Basic math skills Previous inventory control experience a plus Previous quality control experience a plus Reliable transportation Ability to lift 75+ lbs Ability to stand for 3+ hours at a time
