About the role
3 days/week in-office in Stamford, CTRole Overview As the Delivery Lead, you will own the short- and long-term delivery aims of our engineering teams. You will oversee day-to-day operations, run the software delivery and change programs, and ensure engineering best practices are consistently applied. Working alongside two other departmental leaders, your remit is broad, ranging from value initiatives to technical roadmaps. Success in the role calls for excellent technical, leadership, execution and change-management skills, and the ability to create the conditions for high-performing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with group and technical leaders to define the function’s strategic direction, ensuring all initiatives align with the firm's overall objectives
- Lead software project delivery
- Work with the wider Delivery team to build an effective delivery strategy to meet the firm’s goals
- Coordinate change management within the function and across the firm
- Ensure engineering best practices are applied to delivery, and create an environment where your teams can thrive to become high-performing
- Drive continuous improvement in the function’s delivery through leadership on ways of working
- Prioritize competing requirements across the group
- Continuously improve the function’s operational effectiveness, adapting workflows and processes as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years in a complex technical delivery position
- Proven experience leading the delivery of complex software engineering projects, from planning through to production
- A strong track record of successful change-management rollouts across multiple teams
- Demonstrated ability to set delivery strategy and drive continuous improvement in ways of working
