Huntington Learning Center is urgently hiring math tutors. Paid training provided. This position is great for graduate students, research scholars, and new or retired math teachers. Requirements and Qualifications: To teach ACT or SAT, our tutors must have scored at least 30 on the math section of the ACT (or the SAT equivalent). If your scores are more than 5 years old, you may take a qualifying exam at our center. Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. Math Areas (candidates must be proficient in at least 4 of the following): Geometry. Trigonometry. Calculus and college-level math. No lesson plans to write or homework to grade ! You’ll enhance your resume with highly respected experience while earning money in a flexible working environment. Flexible Scheduling: We offer instruction Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm, and Saturdays, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Candidates do NOT have to be available for all of these hours.
Job Type: Part-time.
Pay: Starting at $18 per hour, commensurate with experience.
