GIS Specialist I - Information Technology Apply: Independence, MO: Full time: Posted Yesterday: JR102934It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!*We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.*Department: Information Technology/GISGrade: 150Salary: $21.15/hour Job Duties:* Responsible for reading, deciphering, and verifying legal descriptions on recorded deeds and determining the next steps, either name changes or segregations, for entering deed into tax software.* Assists internal and external customers on conveyance related inquiries. The associate will also be creating, updating, and maintaining all GIS data, performing GIS analysis as requested, creating cartographic products, and working as part of the GIS team to ensure exceptional customer service for both County Departments and the taxpayers* Responsible for working with other GIS stakeholders to coordinate and implement complementary. The employee performs other duties as assigned, including special projects. Minimum Qualifications: * Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university, in GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.* One year of experience in GIS or related field.* Must have a GIS Certification.* Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver's License.* Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.*If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!*
