About the role
We are seeking a front-of-house manager for our upcoming production of Mozart's opera The Abduction from the Seraglio Performance times are Friday, Oct 9 - 7 pm - Arrive 5:45 pm - Wrap up by 9 pm Sunday, Oct 11 - 2 pm - Arrive 12:45 pm - Wrap up by 4:30 pm Saturday, Oct 17 - 7 pm - Arrive 5:45 pm - Wrap up by 9 pm Sunday, Oct 18 - 2 pm - Arrive 12:45 pm - Wrap up by 4:00 pm Arrival times for the house manager are mandatory, to allow for training and prep tasks. Abduction is a 3-act opera with two intermissions. Total duration under 3 hours. Volunteers need to be comfortable in a leadership role. Deciding on role assignments for other front-of-house volunteers such as ticket scanners at the door, selling beverages at our concessions stand, or ushering people to their seats. Prior experience is desirable but not indispensable. We will train you. You do NOT need to commit to volunteering for all four dates, though it is desirable.
