About the role
- Drone Defense Simulator. Site-specific drone-threat simulation that supports vulnerability assessment, preparedness exercises and operational planning.
- Drone Attack Preparedness Program. Simulation, exercises using a digital model of the customer’s site, and controlled live-flight exercises using training drones and detection or tracking equipment. Live activities require applicable legal, aviation, site and safety approvals.
- Osiris Drone OS. A modular operating platform for compatible uncrewed systems, with software integration opportunities for manufacturers and operators.
- Osiris AI Terminal. Onboard computing for autonomous navigation and precision approach and landing on compatible drones, including configurations designed for limited satellite-navigation availability. Product scope, configuration and delivery commitments must match technical readiness and required approvals. Your first 90 days
- Agree a focused sales plan with the CEO. Identify priority accounts, budget owners, purchasing routes and the fastest credible opportunities.
- Convert outreach into qualified meetings, approved demonstrations and proposals with defined scope, price, acceptance criteria and next steps.
- Work toward the first paid pilot or customer contract. Where procurement takes longer, secure documented customer intent with a named sponsor and a dated path to purchase. Track nonbinding memoranda of understanding separately from contracts and revenue. What you will own
- Build relationships with budget owners at energy and utility companies, airports, ports, transportation operators and the security firms that serve them. Hold 20 or more senior customer or partner meetings per quarter, with clear next steps.
- Develop government opportunities with defense program offices, homeland security agencies, and federal, state and local law-enforcement and corrections agencies. Pursue near-term commercial engagements while advancing longer procurement cycles.
- Qualify each opportunity by customer need, budget, decision authority, purchasing route and timing. Lead discovery, approved demonstrations, proposals and negotiations through signature.
- Work with technical and delivery teams to define feasible engagements. Agree success criteria and use successful pilots to support renewals, wider deployments and additional product sales.
- Build reseller, white-label, teaming and integration partnerships with clear sales commitments and end-customer opportunities. Select acquisition routes that fit the customer and Osiris’s eligibility.
- Maintain the customer relationship management system and a weekly forecast covering deal value, stage, close date, obstacles and next action. Represent Osiris at relevant industry events and track competing offerings.
- Use approved materials and follow Osiris’s export-compliance and separate-sales-channel policies. Obtain required approvals for demonstrations, technical disclosures, customer-specific modifications and transactions. What you bring
- 10 or more years of business-to-business sales or business development in U.S. defense, homeland security or critical infrastructure.
- A record of personally closing complex deals. Be ready to explain your role, contract value, sales cycle, purchasing route and result.
- Current relationships with senior buyers, budget owners or channel partners, and the ability to turn those relationships into qualified opportunities.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation and proposal skills. You can demonstrate software independently after training and explain its operational value.
- Experience working independently in a startup or building a new market, with disciplined follow-through during long sales cycles.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
