About the role
- Lead audiovisual project builds from requirements gathering and design review through installation, commissioning, and Day 1 operational handoff
- Conduct site surveys and field assessments for new builds, renovations, and office fit-outs, documenting room requirements, technology standards, user expectations, and integration needs
- Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, punch lists, and deficiency resolution to support successful project delivery
- Review and validate audiovisual design packages, including system schematics, elevations, cable schedules, and bills of materials
- Coordinate on-site installation activities with general contractors, electricians, low-voltage cabling teams, and furniture vendors to ensure infrastructure readiness
- Provide hands-on support for conference room, event space, and backend audiovisual infrastructure, including troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and daily readiness checks
- Coordinate and operate audiovisual setups for live and hybrid events, including town halls, webinars, training sessions, meetings, and presentations
- Partner with Engineering, Facilities, and IT teams on upgrades, changes, and new solutions; serve as an escalation point for complex issues and provide feedback on recurring operational needs
- What You Bring 5+ years of experience supporting audiovisual and unified communications technology
- Proficiency with conferencing and collaboration platforms, including Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google MeetStrong experience supporting room-based conferencing systems, including Cisco Tele
- Presence and Room Series, DTEN, Zoom Rooms, and Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Expertise with audiovisual control systems, DSPs, and peripheral devices, including Crestron, QSC, Lightware, and Shure
- Knowledge of audiovisual networking technologies, including IP-based AV, video over IP, and audio networking
- Experience managing audiovisual inventory, asset tracking, procurement workflows, and project documentation, including scopes of work, bills of materials, as-built drawings, and commissioning checklists
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills, with the ability to support senior leaders, external vendors, and high-visibility projects under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; experience in financial services, corporate AV environments, Cisco voice and video infrastructure, construction coordination, or AV certifications is a plus
