About the role
The Role:
We're looking for a Video Editor to take raw clips filmed at partner businesses and turn them into polished, professional-style spotlight videos and commercials. This is a hands-on production role — you'll own the process from raw footage to finished, publish-ready video, working closely with our PR and Marketing Director.

What You Bring:
Expert-level video editing skills, with a professional, polished style (not just fast-paced social cuts)Strong storytelling instinct — able to shape raw, unscripted footage into a compelling narrative Experience with voiceover recording/syncing and audio mixing Skilled with transitions, motion graphics, and color grading Proficiency in professional editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)A portfolio or reel demonstrating business/brand spotlight-style videos or commercial work (required)Self-starter who can take a folder of raw clips and run with minimal direction Why Business Rate Real ownership over video content that reaches national audiences across hundreds of U.S. markets Fast-paced, high-growth environment where your work ships quickly and visibly Opportunity to grow into a larger creative/video role as the company scales Work directly with leadership — no layers of bureaucracy To Apply Please submit your resume along with a portfolio or demo reel showcasing your video editing work, ideally including business spotlight or commercial-style videos. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
