The Traveling Project Manager will travel to our client’s locations and be accountable for managing moderate size and complexity strategic account project orders (customer, affiliate, recall, etc.), from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Traveling Project Manager role is instrumental in mobilizing, managing, and reporting on service deployments for key strategic customers.ResponsibilitiesConducts pre-project meetings with client's local POC and ensures project goals are establishedTraveling to contracted areasPlans/coordinates travel and access to the siteConfirms daily THAs are being conducted by the Team Lead prior to beginning work each dayCompletes project controls sheet on a weekly basis to ensure budgets are metSubmits weekly reports to supervisorDelivers post-project reports to client's POC at conclusion of projectsReviews/Approves timecards and employee expenses each weekInvolved with new hire onboarding from Talent Acquisition requests, through candidate interviews, to standardized new hire onboarding processEngages with new hires in OTJ training until competency is met100% completion of required Talent LMS based training courses as assigned100% adherence to Salute Mission Critical safety standards and best practices100% adherence to client security/privacy practices and expectationsProfessional Experience / QualificationsProject team lead or management experience to achieve improved results, measured through increased customer satisfaction and increased project profitabilityUnderstanding of subcontractor management, project financials, and risk mitigationTechnical understanding and communication to peers/management and client POCsExperience coordinating and developing sequence of operations and like documents as required to support execution teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipmentAbility to stand for long periods of time in various work environmentsAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasksBasic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quicklyAbility to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectorsClear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glassesAbility to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cablesAbility to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facilityAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snowCapability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protectionPossession of a valid driver’s license for work-related travel, as requiredTravel Opportunities
