About the role
Contract Closeouts BillerSparks Group has partnered with a mission-driven, research focused government contracting organization in search of a qualified Contract Closeouts Biller to focus on optimizing the revenue cycle, encompassing billing, collections, and reporting processes. The Biller will utilize analytical systems and best practices to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collections. If you're interested in being considered for this exiting, collaborative opportunity in revenue management, apply now!ResponsibilitiesPrepare, validate, and submit invoices, supporting documentation, and status reports to clients.Manage outstanding receivables, addressing and resolving issues through to payment.Lead and facilitate receivables and other relevant meetings.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and resolve disputed items.Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment delinquencies and disputes.Understand and adhere to client contract terms and conditions, including closeout procedures.Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and document management systems.Familiarity with government contracting practices.Qualifications/Background Profile3+ years of billing experience within the government contracting industry, with a foundational understanding of accounting principles.2-3 years of experience with Deltek CostpointExperience with contract closeouts preferredProficiency in ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skills.This job is Hybrid Remote.We offer several comprehensive benefits package including health and life insurance, paid and unpaid time off, and retirement and savings plans to qualifying employees.Sparks Group is an equal opportunity employer.
