About the role

The Lease Accounting Analyst supports the Lease Accounting team through invoice processing, landlord account management, expense tracking, and month-end close activities. This role partners with landlords, lease accountants, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate expense reporting and timely payment processing.
Key Responsibilities: Invoice & Expense Management Review and process landlord invoices, including utilities, parking, storage, CAM, and other occupancy expenses. Apply appropriate general ledger coding and ensure timely approval and payment. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies. Maintain accurate invoice records and supporting documentation. Financial Analysis & Close Support Review occupancy expenses for accuracy and completeness. Identify and support monthly accrual requirements. Assist with month-end close activities and expense analysis. Monitor recurring expenses and investigate variances. Landlord Account Management Serve as a primary contact for landlord payment and account inquiries. Provide remittance support and resolve billing issues. Obtain missing invoices and maintain positive landlord relationships. Team Support Manage the Lease Accounting inbox and route inquiries appropriately. Track and follow up on open requests. Support audits, special projects, and process improvements. Provide backup support for other Lease Accounting functions as needed.
Qualifications
Education & Experience: 2+ years of administrative, accounts payable, lease administration, or accounting support experience. Experience with invoices, vendor communications, and financial data preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to analyze expenses and identify discrepancies. Effective communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and related Office applications. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
