About the role

Chiropractic Assistant - Patient Care Coordinator 100% Chiropractic St. Petersburg Full-time, on-site in St. Petersburg | $43,000-$46,000 starting salary | Weekday split schedule About the Role 100% Chiropractic St. Petersburg is looking for a Chiropractic Assistant - Patient Care Coordinator who combines genuine warmth and exceptional communication with organization, initiative, confidence, and follow-through. This is a highly patient-facing role that blends patient care, healthcare administration, office operations, hands-on clinical support, scheduling, and care-plan conversations. You’ll build real relationships with patients, help keep a busy practice running smoothly, support patients throughout their care, and become someone our doctors, patients, and team can genuinely rely on. Previous chiropractic or healthcare experience is welcome, but it is not required. We care much more about strong transferable skills, emotional intelligence, ownership, organization, communication, and the ability to learn. Why This Role Matters We’re Dr. Robert and Dr. Alivia, the owners and chiropractors behind 100% Chiropractic St. Petersburg. We built our practice from the ground up and have seen firsthand how much an exceptional team shapes both the patient experience and the success of the practice. Our patients regularly mention our team members by name in their reviews. They notice being greeted warmly, having things explained clearly, being remembered from one visit to the next, and having someone genuinely care about their progress. Patients regularly tell us they actually look forward to coming into the office. In this position, you aren’t working behind the scenes of that experience. You are a major part of it. What You’ll Own Patient relationships and experience: You’ll welcome patients by name, provide office tours, conduct health-history intakes, answer questions, communicate our approach to care clearly, and get to know the goals that matter to each patient. We want people to feel comfortable, informed, remembered, and genuinely cared for throughout their experience with us. Practice operations: You’ll help manage scheduling, patient communication, missed-appointment follow-up, calls and voicemails, insurance verification, patient accounts, data entry, deposits, reporting, documentation, and record-keeping. Success here means more than completing a checklist. We value someone who notices what needs attention, thinks ahead, follows things through without constant reminders, catches missing details, and recognizes opportunities to improve how things work. Patient care and financial conversations: You’ll present care plans, explain costs and payment options, and help patients work through concerns that may be preventing them from moving forward with recommended care. We’re looking for someone who combines empathy with confidence: someone who listens for the real concern, asks thoughtful questions, reconnects patients to their goals, explores realistic solutions, and is comfortable discussing value. We want someone who is confident enough to help patients work through uncertainty rather than immediately retreating when concerns arise. Hands-on patient support: This is more than a traditional front-desk role. You’ll help coordinate patient flow, teach exercises and home-care instructions, assist patients with spinal decompression, administer shockwave therapy after training and under doctor direction, and support patients throughout their care. Your day will include a real mix of conversation, organization, problem-solving, administrative responsibilities, and hands-on patient interaction.
What Success Looks Like: Here You’ll probably thrive in this role if you:• Connect naturally with people and genuinely enjoy making others feel comfortable • Communicate clearly, warmly, and professionally • Take ownership and follow responsibilities through to completion • Stay organized while managing multiple priorities • Notice problems and look for solutions rather than waiting for constant direction • Can be empathetic without becoming passive • Are comfortable discussing costs, payment options, and important care decisions • Enjoy a fast, productive environment with variety throughout the day • Learn quickly, apply feedback, and want to become increasingly capable and independent • Bring useful ideas once you understand how the practice operates • Care about patient follow-through, accurate work, strong systems, and practice growth • Bring consistent effort even after the role becomes familiar • Are looking for a place where you can stay, grow, and become an important part of the team The Kind of Healthcare We Believe InWe believe patients deserve more than a rushed, transactional healthcare experience. We take time to understand their concerns, explain what we’re seeing, connect recommendations to the things they want to get back to doing, and help them work toward meaningful, lasting improvement. You do not need previous chiropractic experience. We’ll teach you the clinical and practice-specific parts of the role. What matters is that you enjoy helping people and are interested in an approach centered on education, patient participation, and long-term progress. Growth and Development We invest significantly in training and want someone who is interested in becoming excellent at what they do. You’ll receive hands-on training, ongoing coaching, clear expectations, and direct feedback as you develop. As you grow, strong performance may lead to greater ownership of office systems and projects, mentoring and training teammates, contributing to practice improvements, and potentially developing into a senior or lead role depending on performance and practice needs. We genuinely listen when team members bring us good ideas. We want someone who eventually understands the practice well enough to help make it better. Experience That May Translate Well Healthcare experience is not required. Relevant backgrounds may include:• Chiropractic, medical, wellness, or other patient-facing healthcare environments • Customer service or hospitality • Patient care coordination • Office administration or office coordination • Scheduling and customer communication • Consultative sales • Financial counseling or payment-plan conversations • Roles requiring organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and attention to detail Strong transferable skills matter more to us than having one particular title on your résumé.
Compensation and Benefits: Starting salary: $43,000-$46,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications Bonus eligibility after 90 days
Benefits include: • Paid time off • Paid holidays • Ongoing training and professional development • Complimentary chiropractic care for you and two immediate family members • 70% off massage therapy • Complimentary shockwave therapy • Complimentary spinal decompression therapy • Supplements and merchandise at cost • Annual paid company trip Schedule This is a full-time, on-site position in St. Petersburg, Florida. Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM-12:10 PM and 1:35 PM-6:15 PMTuesday: 10:30 AM-12:00 PM and 1:35 PM-6:15 PMFriday: 7:30 AM-12:45 PMMidday breaks are personal time, and you are free to leave the office during them. Please carefully consider both the schedule and your commute before applying.
Our Hiring Process: We’re intentional about finding the right mutual fit. We review applications first. Selected applicants will then be invited to submit a short, conversational video so we can get to know them beyond their résumé. Candidates who continue forward will be invited to an in-person interview. You do not need to submit a video with your initial application. We’re excited to meet someone who brings genuine energy to patient relationships, takes ownership of their work, enjoys becoming exceptional at what they do, and wants to grow alongside an ambitious team.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
