Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am – 5pmRecruiter Contact: Sean Craft | scraft@imaginegroup.comNature & Scope: Positional Overview The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Business Assistant on behalf of our client, an independent commodity trading house that connects global producers and consumers of metals, alloys, and raw materials. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with executive leadership and support a mix of market research, data analysis, client follow-up, cold calling, business development, and broader business priorities. This is a developmental opportunity for someone who wants broad exposure to how an international trading organization operates and the chance to grow under experienced company leadership. Role & Responsibility: Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success: Conduct market research and data analysis to support leadership and market-related decision-making. Support executive leadership with general business priorities and provide flexible support based on evolving needs. Follow up with clients and help maintain consistent communication and relationship development. Conduct cold calling and other business development outreach to support growth opportunities. Build knowledge of market activity, trading operations, and broader business. Learn from experienced company leadership and develop business and trading capabilities over time.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive: Bachelor’s degree or current/recent college-level experience; candidates right out of college or with internship-level experience are encouraged to apply. Strong curiosity, passion, eagerness to learn, and motivation to grow within the business. Sharp, adaptable, and willing to contribute wherever needed in support of business priorities. Interest in global markets, commodities, trading, or related business environments. Comfort with market research, data analysis, client follow-up, and business development activities. Ability and willingness to conduct cold calling and proactive outreach.
