Sr. Project ManagerDuration: 12+ months Rate: $90/hr Contract OPEN TO GC/USC/GC EAD/H4 EAD/H1B (they must be local) Interview: video followed by in-personJob SummaryIT Infrastructure PMJob DescriptionSeeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure initiatives across cloud, network, compute, storage, and security domains. This role requires a solid understanding of infrastructure technologies combined with rigorous project management discipline, strong documentation skills, and a proven ability to hold teams accountable within SAFe, Agile, and Hybrid delivery environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on executor who will partner closely with engineering teams to drive work forward. This role is highly focused on facilitating cross-functional coordination, capturing and driving action items, clearing roadblocks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects including cloud migrations, data center efforts, network upgrades, and server or storage implementations.Develop, maintain, and actively manage project plans, schedules, timelines, and resource coordination across technical teams using Agile, SAFe, or Hybrid methodologies.Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all project artifacts are accurate and up-to-date throughout the delivery lifecycle.Facilitate working sessions and meetings, capture detailed action items, and relentlessly follow up to hold assignees accountable for their commitments and deadlines.Provide clear visibility into project risks, interdependencies, and mitigation strategies, escalating appropriately when necessary.Partner with infrastructure engineers and architects to understand solution designs and translate them into actionable delivery plans.Coordinate delivery across multiple infrastructure domains including network, compute, storage, and security teams.Track project progress, manage backlogs or workstreams as applicable, and drive proactive risk and issue resolution to maintain delivery timelines.Support release planning, deployment coordination, and environment readiness across development, test, and production.Lead cutover planning and execution while minimizing operational impact.Ensure alignment with enterprise standards including security, compliance, and change management processes.Maintain accurate delivery tracking and documentation using tools such as Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or MS Project.Provide regular, concise status updates to stakeholders detailing project health, milestones, and deliverable progress.Facilitate Agile ceremonies or governance touchpoints such as standups, sprint reviews, PI planning inputs, or steering meetings based on the delivery model.Coordinate vendor activities and ensure alignment with contractual deliverables and timelines.Technical Skills Must Have3-5 years of experience in technical project management.Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of creating high-quality project documentation and managing complex action item trackers.Experience delivering infrastructure initiatives such as cloud migrations, system upgrades, or data center-related efforts. Familiarity with change and release management processes in enterprise environments.General understanding of infrastructure technologies including cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, networking concepts, virtualization, servers, and storage.Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, MS Project, and Microsoft Office tools for tracking and reporting.Strong ability to drive accountability, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure teams deliver on commitments.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge technical and business teams.Strong experience working within SAFe, Agile, and Hybrid delivery models in enterprise environments.Strong project management fundamentals including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.Strong track record of navigating escalations, clearing roadblocks, and driving cross-functional decision-making to deliver on project goals.Experience in utilities, infrastructure, or regulated environments.Exposure to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices such as PI Planning and program-level coordination.Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise service management practices.PMP, SAFe certification, ITIL, or similar project management credentials.
