About the role
To support project infrastructure and financial operations, the remote Associate Manager - Finance and Accounting will oversee project finances, manage financial reporting and analysis, and ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards while collaborating with finance colleagues.
Key responsibilities
Lead project finance operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and budget management
Independently prepare and present accurate financial reports and analyses to senior management and project leads
Support audit activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
6-10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit environment
Expert knowledge of USG Rules and Regulations, including FAR and 2CFR200
Solid experience in cradle-to-grave project finances, including financial reporting and analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
