Seeking Part Time Music Assistant to join our Geneva Team Our Part Time opportunities offer: Generous time off every year including 14 paid holidays and sick time Tax Deferred Annuity (403B) Eligibility for Short Term Disability Christmas Bonus SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION: This position will assist the Music and Arts Program at Geneva Corps held weekly Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Corps Music Program Organize a weekly music program at Geneva Corps in conjunction with Corps Officer and/or Local Officer Identify a minimum of 5 students to participate in private lessons and/or rehearsals Work with the Divisional Music Department to identify proper curriculum and music Make all copies of materials needed for classes and lessons Identify potential volunteers with the help of Corps Officers and/or Local Officer, securing their proper training Plan weekly work, lesson, and rehearsal schedule in conjunction with the Corps Officer and/or Local Officer Set up a performance schedule for students involved Meet weekly with Corps Officer Prepare solos and group performances for Star Search competition participants Lead Youth Chorus and Youth Band

Qualifications: SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Proficient in performing piano and teaching music discipline Proficient in leading a chorus and a band Prefer brass instrument knowledge We are an equal opportunity employer.
