This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.Complete daily work orders.Changing filters.Painting/patching.Light plumbing.General maintenance.Light electrical.Required SkillsGeneral maintenance skillsBasic electrical knowledgeBasic plumbingLight carpentryGood customer service skillsAbility to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.Tablet experienceBasic computer experience (Outlook)Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)Preferred SkillsCommercial door maintenance skillsSpecific past experience in either electrical or plumbingEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required.
