- Perform MRI imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Obtain patient history and complete MRI safety screenings and documentation
- Operate MRI scanners and associated imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain high-quality imaging standards to support accurate diagnoses
- Communicate with radiologists and providers regarding imaging protocols when needed
- Maintain compliance with MRI safety standards and regulatory guidelines
- Coordinate with care teams to support efficient patient workflow
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with department standards
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and patient-centered care
- Prior MRI experience preferred, but technologists growing into MRI may be considered
