About the role

Job Summary:
  • The Carlson Clamp Operator is responsible for all the frames he/she builds on his/her table. The operator is also responsible for checking incoming material quality and tolerances as well as data entry on daily material use. Preventive maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
  • Responsible for ensuring all Frames are correct in dimension, color and sequence.
  • Responsible for all the Frames are built to Leedo quality standards, Responsible for preventive maintenance action items performed daily at company standards.
  • Responsible for complete work orders carried out by schedule.
  • Responsible for leading by example regarding attendance, PPE requirements, breaks, and to drive compliance in all areas.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Frames Supervisor.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be able to perform data entry tasks.
  • Must be able to distinguish wood species, colors and finishes.
  • Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency in completing assigned daily duties as needed.
  • Must have a basic ability for reading and writing,
Education and Experience:
  • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience in lieu of Education.
  • Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions
  • Factory Distribution environment will include some heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
