Medical Receptionist Responsibilities: Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately Schedule and confirm patient appointments to optimize provider and patient flow Maintain accurate patient records by filing, updating, and retrieving documentation Assist with patient intake and check-in procedures Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment Support clinic operations by assisting with general administrative tasks Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient questions and concerns
Therapy Care Coordinator Responsibilities: Coordinate patient scheduling for therapy services and manage appointment flow Assist with inbound and outbound referrals to support clinic operations Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations for treatment when required Maintain and update patient demographic and insurance information accurately Ensure timely and accurate documentation within EMR systems Communicate with patients regarding appointments, coverage, and next steps in care Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care Maintain confidentiality of all patient health and financial information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Minimum Qualifications: 1–2 years of experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or physical therapy setting preferred Experience with EMR systems and insurance verification preferred (ECW)Strong customer service, communication, and telephone skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong willingness to learn
