About the role

Project Manager For Data Center Projects Northwest Houston has quietly become one of the busiest data center corridors in Texas, with new hyperscale and colocation campuses going up along the Beltway 8 and Highway 290 area. A well-established general contractor is adding a Project Manager to lead mission-critical builds in the region. If you enjoy complex work, good people and a long runway of projects, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead data center projects from preconstruction and buyout through commissioning and closeout
  • Own the budget, cost reports, change orders and schedule, and keep everyone working from the same plan
  • Partner with owners, engineers and electrical and mechanical trade partners to solve problems early
  • Team up with superintendents on safety, quality and day-to-day jobsite flow
  • Coach assistant project managers and project engineers and help them build their careers
  • Keep owners informed with clear, straightforward updates
  • What You Bring
  • Project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical work (required)
  • Hands-on knowledge of critical power, cooling systems, MEP-heavy coordination and phased commissioning
  • Strong habits around scheduling, cost control and documentation
  • An easygoing, team-first attitude and clear communication
  • A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
What We Offer: Competitive salary, bonus and benefits, a steady pipeline of mission-critical work in the Houston area, and a team that invests in your growth.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
