Job Title: Hematopathologist Location: Washington Position Type: Full-TimeAbout the Opportunity A community hospital–based pathology practice is seeking a Board-Certified Hematopathologist to join a collegial, physician-led group serving a large regional healthcare system. This position offers a diverse mix of hematopathology and solid tumor cases, along with close collaboration with oncology specialists. Both experienced pathologists and fellows are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic interpretation in hematopathology and related subspecialties
  • Collaborate closely with oncologists, clinicians, and pathology colleagues
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions as appropriate
  • Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support a team-based, patient-centered approach to pathology services
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or AP/CPFellowship training or subspecialty expertise in Hematopathology
  • Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of TexasStrong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
