Operations Leader / Senior Project ManagerImpact Staffing International is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our client’s team. Our client is a locally owned residential builder and developer based in Shreveport, LA. Their focus is on building speculative homes and residential developments, with related entities in commercial and residential development.They offer a laid-back, flexible, family-friendly culture where people are trusted to do their jobs.The OpportunityWe’re hiring a high-level operations leader (title flexible: Senior Project Manager, Operations Leader, or Vice President) to run the day-to-day operations from our Shreveport office.You’ll be the go-to person in the office so the owners can step out of the daily grind and focus on growing the business. This is a long-term role with real opportunity to grow into a VP-level position and get involved in other entities under the companies’ umbrella.What You’ll DoLead day-to-day office operations and keep projects moving.Be the primary point of contact when issues arise—solve problems and remove roadblocks.Run or support client meetings and act as a key client-facing leader.Handle unhappy clients and turn situations around through strong communication.Oversee project preliminaries: plans, permitting, purchase orders, and basic project financials.Help standardize processes.Provide leadership to the office team, modeling strong communication and accountability.What We’re Looking ForMust-HavesExceptional communication skills (verbal and written).Proven ability to lead people and act as the “go-to” problem solver.Strong organizational and operational skills; comfortable juggling multiple projects.Experience dealing with escalated or unhappy customers in a professional way.High initiative, attitude, and effort—you’re proactive and eager to learn.Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small, entrepreneurial company.Willing and able to work on-site, Monday–Friday, in Shreveport.Nice-to-HavesExperience in construction (residential or commercial) or related industries.Background in operations management, project management, or similar roles.Experience standardizing processes and workflows in a growing business.Ties to the Shreveport area or a desire to relocate/return.Construction experience is a plus, not a requirement.
